A new footbridge has been installed at Hither Green station in London as part of Network Rail's efforts to improve accessibility for customers. The project involves a 500-tonne and 750-tonen crane being lifted across the railway tracks to connect all platforms with new entrances at Fernbrook Road and Springbank Road. Once completed, the station will have step-free access from street level to the footbridge and across all platforms. The improvements are expected to be completed by the summer.
