GLAAD Slams FCC, Brendan Carr For "Harm On LGBTQ Americans"

GLAAD has criticized the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for its proposed media crackdown, stating it is "government overreach" and attempts to control what can be seen on television. The group argues that seeing an LGBTQ person on screen or in real life does no harm and that government overreach is a violation of freedom of speech. The FCC has also launched an inquiry into the TV ratings system, including whether issues of gender identity are being included in children's programming without flagging them to parents.
