Sony Pictures has made history with its latest superhero trailer, the Spider-Man: Brand New Day, achieving the largest movie trailer launch of all time. The film, which follows an isolated Peter Parker as he navigates a physical evolution and new criminal patterns, surpassed the previous record of 365 million views held by Deadpool and Wolverine. The trailer also surpassed the 475 million views of the Grand Theft Auto VI video game trailer. To build momentum ahead of the release, Sony released tiny snippets of the full trailer online.
