Jill Duggar Dillard's family has released a statement expressing shock and heartbroken over her brother's arrest on child molestation charges. Joseph Duggar, 31, is accused of molesting a 9-year-old girl in 2020. The charges stem from an alleged incident that occurred while on vacation with her family in Panama City Beach, Florida. The family expressed their support for the rule of law and hope justice will be achieved. The alleged sexual abuse occurred when Joseph allegedly asked the victim to sit on his lap and then covered them with a blanket as the vacation continued. The victim, now 14, participated in a forensic interview regarding a report of past sexual abuse and her father confronted Joseph about the incidents. The Duggar family appeared on TLC's 19 Kids and Counting from 2008 until 2015.
