A main road in Leicester, Abbey Park Road, was closed during the morning rush hour after a minor car accident. The road was closed between the junctions of Belgrave Circle and the A6. The incident occurred shortly after 06:00 GMT and police advised people to use alternate routes. No further details have been released regarding the accident.
