A tanker explosion in Iredell County, North Carolina, has resulted in a death and injury of the driver of the tanker. The explosion occurred around 7:15 a.m. on April 7 at Carolina Beverage Group. The cause of the explosion was not immediately known. No evacuations were required and businesses could continue operating. The National Transportation Safety Board is leading the investigation into the accident.
