Kansas City is experiencing a significant amount of snowfall across the state line, with road crews working overnight to treat bridges and ramps ahead of the Monday commute. The cold weather is causing some concern for motorists across the city, with temperatures reaching 25 degrees Fahrenheit and winds chilling the lower than normal. The visibility is also becoming more pronounced due to the wind chill, which has caused some slick spots and accidents across the area. Road conditions are expected to worsen throughout the week. A recent crash caused major disruption to traffic on Highway 71 near Highway 71 and Highway TEN near the LENEXA. Road crews are also working to clear up several minor issues with minor injuries. The weather is affecting drivers on the Missouri Sides of the county, causing traffic disruptions on both the Missouri and Kansas.
