Police in Fairfield, New Haven, have identified Connor Dushay as the suspect in a fatal overdose incident on Dec. 27. The victim was pronounced dead following the combined effects of cocaine, fentanyl, and alcohol. Dushingay was charged with selling a narcotic substance, tampering with or tampering with physical evidence, and possessing a controlled substance, a second offense. He surrendered to police on March 19 and was held in lieu of bail at $100,000. The case highlights the dangers of illicit drug use, particularly the presence of fentanyl, which can significantly increase the risk of overdose.
