Colonia Man Pulled Out Gun During Car Meet-Up In Rutgers Parking Lot, Police Say

A man from Colonia, New Jersey, pulled out a firearm from the trunk of a tan Toyota Camry during a car meet-up on the Rutgers campus on February 20, according to witnesses. The car was driven by Sean Benedicks, who was arrested on March 25 and charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and possessing a firearm on school grounds. The incident occurred without incident.
