Houston's Bush Airport among hardest hit with TSA call-outs

The partial government shutdown has resulted in long security lines at Houston airports, with 36% of officers called out at George Bush Intercontinental Airport and 40% at Hobby Airport. As a result, ICE agents were deployed at both airports to assist in crowd control and evacuation. The line reportedly stretched across three floors at one point and took up to an hour to reach the TSA checkpoint. However, travelers said the time to get through the line was actually faster than it was on Monday. United Airlines has issued a waiver allowing passengers to reschedule flights free of charge through Friday.
