Community Media Access Collaborative (CMAC) won eight awards at the Western Access Video Excellence (WAVE) Awards, a competition that showcases excellence in local storytelling across six Western states. The awards were held in Sacramento, California. Four of the winners began their careers at CMAC's training program. The nonprofit is dedicated to assisting local individuals, educational institutions and public agencies, promoting local voices through programs and services.
