2 men hurt in Canton house explosion, now face criminal charges

Two men injured in a house explosion in Canton, Ohio, last month are facing criminal charges for breaking and entering and nine counts of aggravated arson. Justin J. Bruce and Michael L. Mullins are charged with aggravated arson and breaking and breaking into a home in the 1600 block of Bonnot Place NE. The explosion, caused by natural gas, destroyed the home and damaged several other homes in the neighborhood around 4 a.m. on July 30. Both men are still receiving treatment at the Akron Children’s Hospital’�s Burn Unit.
