India is facing a shortage of gas supplies due to the US-Israel war on Iran, which has resulted in disruption to its gas supply. The country imports 80-85% of its own LPG annually, making it the world's second-largest importer. Most restaurants have no two days of LPG buffer and may have to cut their business if the situation continues. Some restaurant owners fear they will have to rely solely on electric ovens and coal for power.
