412 Food Rescue will collect food during NFL Draft in Pittsburgh for no-waste dinner event

Pittsburgh-based 412 Food Rescue will coordinate with NFL Draft organizers to collect surplus food during the event from April 23 to 25. The food will be used for a no-waste dinner at the Good Food Project on April 26 at 3 p.m. The charity will transport uneaten food from Acrisure Stadium and other official venues to local nonprofits serving the community. The event will also showcase the process of transforming surplus donations into meals for the community by observing the transformation of food.
