The Philippines and South Korea have pledged closer cooperation amid growing geopolitical uncertainty. The two countries plan to expand cooperation in shipbuilding, nuclear energy, and artificial intelligence. They also plan to collaborate on critical minerals and supply chains. The countries signed MOUs in various sectors including digital technology, procurement of specific defence equipment, agricultural products, and police investigations.
