Pakistan leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed was bought by Indian-owned Sunrisers Leeds for 190,000 pounds ($254,201.00) in the men's auction for The Hundred, despite reports that Indian-controlled teams might not consider signing Pakistani players for the competition due to tensions between India and Pakistan. The auction also saw James Coles, an all-rounder from Sussex, fetch the highest price in the first half of the auction. Other notable players included Usman ‌Tariq, who ultimately joined Birmingham Phoenix for 140,000 euros, while Pakistan's Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf went unsold.
