‘Sons of Detroit,’ ‘Natchez,’ and ‘Creede U.S.A.’ Among 2026 Sedona Intl. Film Fest Doc Winners

The Sedona Intl. Film Festival 2026 has announced its winners, including Jeremy Xido's "Sons of Detroit" and Marc Evan's "Mr Burton". Other winners included Emmanuel Courcol's "The March Band" for best international narrative feature award. The film, which premiered at DOC NYC in 2025, explores Xido’s upbringing in 1970s Detroit. The festival had over 1700 film submissions and nearly 500 screenplay competition entries this year. Other notable winners included Alexander Hammer's "Room to Move" for Non-Fiction New Visions Award and Kahane Corn Cooperman's "CREEDE U.S.A." for Best Indie-Spirit Documentary.
