ChatGPT now available via CarPlay with iOS 26.4

Apple CarPlay users are now able to communicate with OpenAI's ChatGPT via their phone, using only their voice. This move comes after Apple introduced support for AI agents within CarPlay with the release of the iOS 26.4 update. The CarPlay experience is limited compared to the web and cannot display various images or text on-screen. To use ChatGpt, an app update and an updated version of the app are required. The application is only delivered with Apple's approval.
