Ethics Committee finds Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick guilty of violating 25 ethics charges

A special House Ethics subcommittee has found Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick guilty of 25 ethics charges, concluding a three-year investigation into allegations that she stole millions in federal relief funds and used some of it for her congressional campaign. The full Ethics Committee could recommend censure, reprimand, removal from committees or even expulsion from the House.
