Slovenia's Prime Minister Robert Golob has begun discussions with leaders of political parties in an attempt to form a broad coalition following an inconclusive election. The coalition, which requires coalition partners to secure a working majority in the 90-seat parliament, could potentially influence smaller parties. Three centre-right parties rejected the invitation, suggesting they would form a centre-left coalition. Participants agreed that the first priority for a future government should be measures against graft and stabilise the energy sector.
