First Aid Products At Major Pharmacy In WI Recalled, Linked To Serious Injuries

Wound and burn products, including some sold by CVS, are being recalled after they are linked to over a dozen serious injuries. The products may cause temporary or reversible health problems or serious health problems, although these are less likely. The recalled items include lots 2446 and 2428 of CVS wound gel in a 1-ounce tube, all MediHoney gel in 1.5-ounce and 0.25-ounce tubes, and all Modician's calcium alginate dressing in 2-by-2- and 4-out-evaluation. As of December 19, 2025, Integra LifeSciences has reported 11 serious injuries related to these products, three serious injuries relating to CVS Wound Gel.
