Aston Martin to limit laps in Australia with drivers at risk of nerve damage

Aston Martin's team principal, Adrian Newey, has announced that the team will limit their laps at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix to prevent their drivers from suffering nerve damage from vibrations coming through the steering wheel. Newey cited vibrations from the Honda-supplied power unit as causing reliability issues and strain on Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll's fingers. The team has been dealing with reliability issues during winter testing and has been working to resolve these issues. Honda HRC president Koji Watanabe has offered no timeline on a meaningful fix.
