Marwell Zoo has been searching for the missing capybara, Samba, since 16 March after she escaped from the zoo with her sister, Tango. Despite numerous reported sightings across the surrounding areas, no confirmed sightings have been confirmed. The search continues with specialist tracking dogs, thermal drone technology, and camera traps being used in key areas where Samba is likely to travel.
