Ben Stiller, a comedy star known for his distinctive appearance in films such as There's Something About Mary, Meet the Parents, and Tropic Thunder, has revealed that he often gets mistaken for another comic actor, Adam Sandler, when he receives the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Stiller and Sandler both starred in the 2017 film, The Meyerowitz Stories, both explained the phenomenon on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2024 and in 2025. Despite pointing out the error, Stiller has found that correcting people for the error does not work.
