‘Incredible hero’: Cambridge shooting witness details being helped by veteran during attack

Rachael Saveriano was driving when a gunman opened fire on Memorial Drive in Cambridge, Massachusetts, killing more than 50 people. She witnessed the gunman, identified by police as Tyler Brown, 46, and was prepared to hide in her car until further notice. A man she didn't know opened her car door and stayed as a barricade. The veteran returned fire at Brown, who was identified as Brown, and Saverano ran into a nearby hotel. Savero credits the veteran for saving her life and the lives of others in the area.
