Yuto Konno, a 42-year-old Japanese fugitive wanted in his home country for suspected involvement in a sexual assault case, has been captured in the Philippines. Konno was taken into custody in Tagaytay, Cavite province, located in the southern part of Luzon island. He is currently being held at a local immigration detention facility and is expected to be deported back to Japan soon.
