New Canaan Public Schools (NCPS) has appointed Elizabeth Hannaway as its new district special education administrator. She will oversee special education programming at the intermediate and middle school levels and will use her experience to advance best practices and program development for students in grades 5-8. Prior to joining NCPS, Hannaway served as Ridgefield Public School's assistant superintendent of special services, leading all district special services. She also served as assistant director of special education for Shelton Public Schools and a teacher at Darien Public Schools.
