Newly released video from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office shows a police pursuit that escalated when deputies were forced to fire their weapons. The incident occurred on February 24 in the area of Northwest 17th Avenue and 71st Street, where deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a Mercedes-Benz. The driver, 23-year-old William Paulemon, led them on a high-speed pursuit that ended when he ran a red light and crashed with another car. No deputies were injured in this incident.
