New Orleans airport lines improve Sunday

The shortage has caused significant backups, particularly during the morning rush when wait times stretched to about an hour. President Trump has issued an executive order to pay TSA agents, which could provide some relief as soon as tomorrow. However, airport leaders still recommend travelers to arrive early for their flights due to anticipated delays. Despite this, airport officials have warned that they expect further delays due to ongoing ongoing government shutdown proceedings.
