$60K 'Predatory Scheme' Targeting Victims Seeking Affordable Housing Leads To Indictment In Westchester

The arrest of 52-year-old Norma Tirado, the woman accused of accepting thousands of dollars each from at least ten different victims in exchange for finding affordable housing, has been announced. The charges stem from a "predatory scheme" that involved individuals seeking affordable housing. Despite accepting over $60,000, Tirado has not fulfilled the victims' requests for assistance. The investigation is being prosecuted by the Westchester County Department of Public Affairs.
