The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed that another tornado touched down in Carroll County during storms earlier in the month. The EF-0 tornado lasted for about a minute and traveled about 3/10 of a mile, with a maximum path width of 75 yards and an estimated peak wind speed of 80 mph. The NWS reported that the tornado snapped and destroyed numerous trees along a narrow corridor along Old Frederick Road.
