Colombian singer Shakira performed the biggest show of her career in her career on Copacabana Beach, Rio de Janeiro, on May 2. The free performance was part of the “Todo Mundo no Rio” project, which also featured appearances from Caetano Veloso, Maria Bethânia, Anitta and Ivete Sangalo. Approximately 2 million spectators were present. The event was watched by around 2 million people. Shakira's relationship with Brazil has been a long-standing and instrumental in her rise to global pop stardom. The setlist included several Latin rhythms and Spanish lyrics.
