A 17-year-old boy is dead after being shot while playing with a gun in southeast Houston, according to the Houston Police Department. The shooting occurred at about 9:15 a.m. on the 6000 block of Fondren. The boy was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead. Police are currently working with the girl, who they believe may have been involved in the incident.
