Horror in Louisiana as 8 children are dead in a tragic episode of domestic violence

A gunman in Louisiana killed eight children in domestic violence shootings at two different homes, setting the nation's deadliest mass shooting in over two years. The victims ranged in age from one to about 14 years old and some were related to the suspect. The suspect died after a police chase with officers who fired at him. The shootings occurred near Shreveport, where 10 people were shot. This is currently being investigated by Louisiana State Police.
