General Assembly returns to Richmond to consider Spanberger’s proposed changes

The Virginia General Assembly is set to consider Governor Abigail Spanberger's proposed changes to legislation, which include pushing back the start date for the sale of recreational marijuana and allowing local governments more time to allow for public-sector collective bargaining. If lawmakers accept all of Spanberger’s proposed changes, the bill will become law as planned. However, if they reject some or all of these changes, Spanberger will have 30 days to consider any legislation returned to her desk.
