At least 10 artists or bands are returning to headline tours in the U.S. after long breaks from touring. The trend reflects the growing power of the nostalgia economy, as fans revisit artists from their youth while younger listeners can easily connect with them through streaming and social media. Sugar will begin their tour on May 2, while The Pussycat Dolls are set to celebrate their 20th anniversary of their debut album. The Cab launched their first headlining tour in over a decade. Rush announced a reunion tour starting June 7, their first since 2015. Lily Allen, Robyn and Ariana Grande all started their tours this year. The return of Oasis, Alabama Shakes and Brandy and Monica last year marked the return of decades-old music.
