'Closure' Wins Top Award At Thessaloniki Int'l Documentary Festival

Michal Marczak's documentary, "Closure," won the Golden Alexander in International Competition at the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival in Greece. The film follows a man desperately searching for his missing teenage son, Chris, who was last seen on a bridge over the Vistula River in Warsaw. It premiered in World Cinema Documentary competition at Sundance and will be served as the opening night film at the upcoming Millennium Docs Against Gravity festival in Marczakia. The recognition comes at a crucial time for the film, which was built from terabytes of footage shot during Syria's civil war.
