Air Force Sgt. killed in Iraq plane crash identified as Bardstown native by DoW

The Department of War has identified 34-year-old Technical Sergeant Ashley Pruitt as one of the six Airmen killed in the U.S. Air Force crash, which occurred during Operation Epic Fury. The other five were from the 6th Air Refueling Wing at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida and the 121st Air National Guard Base in Ohio. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
