Medina to work with consultant on square safety improvements

The city of Medina, Ohio, has agreed to proceed with a study of the square and surrounding streets to improve traffic and pedestrian safety. The city has enlisted OHM Advisors to conduct the study, which will consider modification of parking around the square, and other safety enhancements. The study will also include a community survey. There were 42 traffic accidents in the square in 2025, according to Council President John Coyne.
