Two road rage incidents occurred within nine hours in separate Middle Tennessee counties, leading to shootings. The incidents reportedly escalated when the suspect reached for a weapon and two officers shot him. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating what led to the officer-involved shooting. AAA has issued advice on avoiding road rage, stating that aggressive driving can be contagious and can escalate into injury and sometimes fatalities when people have weapons. The victim reportedly turned onto West End Avenue from 23rd Avenue in front of a white sedan, believed to be a mid-2010s Kia Optima, which started driving aggressively. If you are in a dangerous situation, experts advise not to leave the car and head to the nearest police station.
