The Anchorage Wolverines extended their five-game win streak to five with an 8-5 victory over the Kenai River Brown Bears. Forward Luc Bydal led the offensive effort with a five-point night, adding two goals to his team-leading season total and assisting on three others. The Wolverines capitalized on their numbers advantage and went 5-for-9 on the power play. The game was tied 1-1 through the first period, but the Wolverines found themselves in a 3-1 deficit after the Brown Bears scored two goals in the second period. Both Bydal brothers scored or assisted in seven of the team’s eight goals.
