Sigal Chattah, former Republican National Committee woman, has led the U.S. Attorney’s office for the District of Nevada for a year. Her appointment by the Trump administration has been controversial as she was not confirmed through the traditional nomination process. Chattah addressed a report alleging that she asked the FBI to investigate debunked claims about voter fraud in the 2020 election. She insisted that she has not felt political pressure and that her focus is on public corruption. She also addressed the possibility of "judicial activism" and suggested that there is a political taint on the Department of Justice.
