Chandi Hospitality, a Bay Area company that owns several dining establishments, has purchased the site of In-N-Out Burger in Oakland for $1.8 million. The former restaurant closed its doors two years ago due to crime issues. Chandi Hospitality's endeavors include rehabbing beat-up restaurants and joining new franchises. The seller in the transaction was In-n-Out. Despite the location's robust performance, In-out stated that it remained a busy and profitable location.
