Lululemon stock dips after company names former Nike executive as new CEO

Lululemon's stock fell 5% after the announcement of Heidi O'Neill as its next CEO. O'Neil, who had a 27-year career with Nike, rose to become the company's No. 2 executive and oversaw product creation, marketing and how Nike served consumers. The company's CEO, Marti Morfitt, praised O’Neill’s ability to imagine a new future for a brand and create structure and processes to achieve this. However, Tom Nikic, a Needham & Co. analyst, suggested that while O‘Neill's experience is positive, investors might view her hiring with skepticism.
