Chicago Board of Education expected to approve Dr. Macquline King as permanent CPS CEO

The Chicago Board of Education is set to vote on Dr. Macquline King as the next official CEO of the Chicago Public Service (PST), with a starting salary of $380,000 per year, more than her predecessor, Pedro Martinez, who was fired from the position. If approved, King will become the permanent CEO of PST.
