The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a recall for HelloFresh's Basil Pesto & Mozzarella Pizzas distributed in 10 states due to potential health risks. The recall was initiated by Charlotte, N.C.-based firm Bakkavor due to metal fragments being identified in the slow-roasted tomatoes in the product. The FDA has classified the recall as a Class II recall, which is when a product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health. The affected pizzas are affected by the following types of frozen pizzas: Lot 20367482 with sell by date of 6/29/26, and Lot 20377537 with sell-by-date of 9/4/26.
