VillageCare names Shaun Ruskin as its new president and CEO

Shaun Ruskin has been appointed as the new president and CEO of VillageCare and VillageCareMAX Managed Care Health Plans, by the organization's Board of Directors. This appointment marks the first new CEO for VillageCare since 2009, following the departure of longtime CEO Emma DeVito. Ruskin had previously served as chief operating officer and acting president after DeVito's retirement. He brings more than 20 years of senior health care leadership experience with a track record in operational excellence, revenue growth, and quality outcomes. He will lead VillageCare's executive team in advancing the organization’s strategic priorities, business operations, and commitment to member-centered care.
