Gary Cohen, the play-by-play voice of the New York Mets, has revealed that not being able to call playoff games is the hardest transition from radio and the worst part of his job. Cohen, who has been with the team since 2006, has been unable to call postseason games due to MLB's control of postseason broadcast rights. He was previously known for his call of Endy Chavez's Game 7 home run in the 2006 NLCS. Many fans have urged the league to allow local market broadcasters to watch local broadcasts of nationally televised games in their area.
