Hartford inspector general to release update on officer-involved shooting during mental health call

The Connecticut Office of Inspector General is expected to release body camera footage and a preliminary report regarding a police shooting in Hartford, which involved a man in a mental health crisis. The man is currently in critical condition. Over the weekend, protesters called for accountability in how officers respond to mental health calls. The first incident occurred on February 19.
