Man arrested after garage burglary attempt and attic standoff in Fresno, police say

A man has been arrested for attempting to steal from a garage and hiding in the attic of a home in Fresno, California. The man allegedly punched a hole in the roof of the garage and then fled to another home nearby. He was eventually taken into custody and taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. Both men were charged with attempted burglary.
